Go, Cassian, go!
Mar. 10th, 2023 08:01 pm It's so funny to see my grandson at work! Hubby picked Cassian up from kindergarten, while I critically eyed what he had planned for lunch- vegetables, salad and some leftover chicken nuggets in the guise of Halloween ghosts. That's what you get when you have given up the sovereignty over your freezer- things hubby does not want or need wander to the rear, only to reappear later, when husband dearest needs more space for bacon. Cassian had cut the twigs needed for decoration to a (mostly) reasonable length before we had lunch. I wonder how he did it- the pruning shears are not that easy to handle! After a short after-lunch nap decoration frenzy continued. For the most part of the afternoon Cassian was running around with plastic eggs and items that would not fall apart if he dropped them. He even sat for almost half an hour with aunt Lil's pink jewellery tree and hung tiny eggs and rabbits onto the branches while I had coffee and cake- not that I hadn't offered him cake too, but he did not want any. For a child not yet four years old he is very focused on things he is interested, and for a long time at that! The good thing is that Cassian will not stay overnight, and I can finally choose the TV program I want! Tomorrow I will rearrange some of the decoration then take pictures, before sister and family will come for a visit, mostly to hear from hubby if all reparation work in her flat has gone well...
Outside it´s storming and raining cats and dogs- now I wonder if we will find water in the conservatory tomorrow! And no, I will not have a look now. It´s evening, it´s dark- just the best time for the lot of spiders to come out of their hiding places! And hubby is not around to take care of those critters...
