Apr. 26th, 2023 06:03 pm Hubby did a lot of isolating today, so I kept myself confined to the studio for most of the day- mineral wool always makes my eyes go watery and my nose itchy, and I do not need both of it just now, especially when my eyes are finally going back to normal! Bad enough that hubby was coughing a lot, because he lost his face mask and was too lazy to get a new one. But he was smart enough to plough through the content of our cars´ gloveboxes after lunch and found some old ones from a time that seems so far away now. When I was at the doctor´s office yesterday I had to wear a face mask. From May the first the mask will be gone from hospitals and doctor´s offices- another step towards normality. BTW, I remembered the thing with the mask only when I was standing outside the office. It´s not that there´s a lot of places you have to wear one. I´d love to know the way this is handled in other countries, and if we Austrians are the only ones who dread ourselves to death...
The first dose of antibiotics did not much to make myself feel less miserable. I totally understand little ones who make their parents do a run for the doctor soonest! Good thing is that my appetite has shrunk enormously, and if I will be able to keep new eating habits up for the next two years, there might be some visible success. There has to be visible success...
I have been decluttering at least three Ikea boxes in the morning. Of course I got stuck for a while, when I found some old letters, but I did good- letters are in the paper bank now, so no more tarrying! Tomorrow there´s one more box I have to clear, then I will continue to hunt a Malm dresser, where all the things I want to keep will find a new place. Then it´s Kallax from the mudroom (the white one) up into the bathroom, and the one from the bedroom (the brown one) will go to the mudroom. My husband will surely love me even more because of this! So, so sorry, hubby!
