Not again!
Aug. 15th, 2023 04:33 pm This night I slept until five in the morning. I was just getting out of bed, wwhen I heard the distinct rumble of another thunderstorm. Back to bed again, but sleep did elude me then, because it was too hot in the bedroom- 24 degrees, and I did not want to turn on the aircon- too loud.
I had decided to do Chicken al Faham for lunch. Hubby was appalled at watching me powdering cinnamon and cloves and whatever has to go into the seasoning mix, when his blender was chilli-only. I will have to do this recipe more often, tastes interesting! The only alteration was that I exchanged fresh cilantro for parsley- so not fond of soapy flavours!
Son told us that he intends to quit studying and get full time job instead. I wish him luck, may he find the right one. What I wonder is why he chose this branch of study, when he dislikes statistics so much! Tomorrow he and hubby will do clothes- hunting for the wedding, and I will do lunch-cooking. And knitting. And maybe turn on my PC. Depends on how long the two will be off. I hope Ashmael will recognise me as his owner! Today it's tidying the pool area from swimming utensils and carport from the things hubby was supposed to bring to the rubbish dump. I will load the trailer and secure it with the safety net. Things might get thundery and gusty this afternoon and the next days also!
