Don´t want it, don´t need it...
Sep. 18th, 2023 08:03 pm...but it´s back. For the last weeks my fatigue increased alarmingly. I get up after a more or less decent sleep but feel even more tired than the evening before. I do what I have to do, albeit very slowly. When reading a book, doing sudokus, doing jigsaws it happens that I doze off for some seconds. Doing LJ entries is the worst- while concentrating on my English my forehead has (almost) hit the keyboard more than once! At least I do not have to drive when I do not feel like, not the way I had to when I picked daughter dearest up in NZ. The three weeks I spent there driving around to see this strange new world I lived from coffee and uppers. Yet many a kerb got run over, and we did a lot of napping in the car, before I was able to continue. Back home doctor found not enough iron and thyroid hormone in my blood. I think I am in for another blood test...
On the other hand I have friends that will take care of my problem. Today my friend picked me up in her brand new car, which seems big from the outside but is tiny from the inside. In her trunk only one carton and a medium sized shopping bag will fit into. On the back seat she has two children´s seats for children with very small feet, but at least you can put your bags onto them. Trunk and children´s seats were full today, after we decided to call it a day and go back home after our shopping spree. Tedi is indeed a wondrous place for must-not-haves. One of those must-not-haves was a Christmas decoration ladder made of birch branches that now waits in front of our house for getting decorated. We had a hard time to get this one into the car, which now is decorated with flakes of birch bark! The last shop will have to wait, until I cleanse my car and pick my friend up for more shopping. I´ve got a lot of decoration and crafting items for Christmas but not much for the Halloween party! Or am I already too late for such items?
