First things first
Dec. 24th, 2023 11:06 am May the blessing of Christmas bring joy to you in this complicated times!

Number four is supposed to arrive at 3:30 in the afternoon, exactly at the time I expected. Not a minute early, none of the presents he has with him wrapped (always my job), not dressed for the big event. And what did hubby do? He invited the rest of our guests for coffee and a cake I did not bake yet. First I thought I'd strangle him then called number two and told him to come at four. No, that half of them would get picked up at four. Early enough, two young children swarming around in search of the Christkind and the presents for almost two hours might thwart my catering efforts- just what I need! And there won't be cake, when we have cookies! But that's my husband- Christkind must have come early in this family, that was before Jehova and his witnesses struck. From then on Christmas got cancelled. Daughter mine is a big help. Son would be, too, at least cookwise, but with guests he does not know well it gets a bit complicated, when you have been diagnosed with Asperger! So off again to the kitchen it is for me, doing last minute work. BTW, number four just called and told us, that his train was late. I so knew it!
