About swimming

 Hubby and I did some pre-Easter shopping today for our grandchildren- sweets, chocolate bunnies and dyed eggs. I had wanted to do it tomorrow during Cassian´s swimming lesson, but hubby persisted on using this hour for a swim himself. That´s okay for me, I am not the indoor pool fanatic he is. And I am not nosy and want to watch Cassian´s weekly swimming progress. I taught my children how to swim, and it worked more or less. Number one was six, when he learned it, number two four, and number three learned it the hard way, when he was four and climbed the three-metre-springboard, jumped down and ended up in the pool without floaties. We had long suspected that he was able to swim, that day we knew. Number four started swimming lessons, when he was not yet four, but decided that skedaddling lessons by the use of his scooter was more fun, so it took a while longer. Number five was three and a half, when she ditched her floaties and jumped into the big pool, to dive to the bottom, because she had seen something shiny in there. It´s different with Cassian- like most of today´s children he is over-protected. Things that won´t work immediately are not worth to be carried on. Well, have fun in school, grandson!
New TV will only be delivered in the second week of April. Hubby thinks that can´t be true, because the device is available in the shop. I went to the bank to withdraw the money- so no problem for my part, if the shop will alter delivery date.
I had a long phone call with son number four, another with a friend, and when I got back down from the studio husband mine proudly presented me the cowslips he had found when touring on his bicycle. He had unearthed them and planted them in our garden. Only that unearthing them is prohibited in our country. And that he will be the one who will be mowing them down in two weeks or so, when thhe lawn will stand too high...
