Day two...
Apr. 26th, 2024 06:06 pm ...was a bit more challenging, because Cassian decided that 5:30 was a good time to start the day. I sent him to the loo then steered him onto hubby´s side of the bed, where he had to rest until the clock showed 6:30. He was not happy about this, so I switched my tablet on and showed him some movie sequences with Nagini (not nice ones, the nice one would be Nagini in form of a hand-bag), which effectively shut him up for a while. Then I gave him my Nagini to play with. Might be that the boy´s mother will ponder which movie her son is re-enactíng when he serves his snake a special dinner...
Grocery shopping was extremely stressing with one boy wanting to climb out of the seat and the other trying to climb into the trolley. Besides, Flavius managed to open the car´s door during the drive, which almost gave husband a coronary. Hubby capitulated and took the boys to the playground outside. At 12.30 both boys were taking their after-lunch nap and I had to wake them up after two hours. I fear the worst, when it´s bed time for the two after such a long recovering time. DiL called and asked if the boys were okay, although she´d better ask if the grandparents are still alright. Until now we have played two rounds of jinxing (ended up with a very dead nail file made of cardboard, no need to worry), a round of Krampuslauf, and at the moment boys are on the groundfloor with aunt Lil, who plays the witch in Walpurgisnacht. Those young men really love spooky games. They also love spooky Lego movies. In the morning we watched Lego Knights. Every few minutes a knight draws his sword and kills his opponent, a damsel or a pet. Weird movie, indeed!
