Greece in summer? No, thanks!

 With the weather so sultry, nothing of importance got done today. And even less when last night was a sleepless one for both hubby and me, the temperature in the bedroom too high, hubby´s cold leaving no option to turn the air conditioning on and the weather outside a row of thunderstorms, which had us kept the outside blinds closed. Seriously- I have wiped the bedroom floor more than once, when rain made it into the house during a thunderstorm. Because of the heat- yes, 26 degrees in the bedroom is heat to me- I woke three times and managed to hit my fifth toe at the frame of the bed when coming back from the obligatory tour de loo. It´s red and swollen, and my foot does not like to get put into my shoe but has to resign- tomorrow we will be off to visit number three and have a barbecue there. Since hubby and I will take turns at driving (because of hubby´s cold) I cannot go unshod or in slippers, which is definitely not good. During night I also did a lot of reading badly written fanfiction (must be my masochistic side) then went from FF7 to another fandom, where it got even worse. At least I had some good laughs again. The nightly encounter with unwanted temperatures confirmed my no to an impromptu holiday in Greece at the end of the month. Sorry, but no, I would have done it ten years ago, but no more...
Hubby´s car has a serious problem all of a sudden, definitely not good when son number four, who will come this evening by train, will need it to visit a friend. Hubby has put a bottle with destilled water into the trunk, so that son can refill engine coolant if needed. But it´s a 50 kilometres drive son has to do, so hubby and I will start to St. Pölten early to get back home even earlier, in case that we will have to tow son home...
