Getting up early is mean
Jun. 12th, 2024 07:09 pm Yesterday daughter arrived ten minutes after family number two showed up. The boys were delighted to finally meet their aunt again. We listened to tales from holiday break for some time, then Hubby brought in bacon and salami, all sadly missed during their time of vacation. Cassian opened the last birthday presents, we were able to stave off our grandsons´attack to come back today then they were off. Daughter shared a bottle of radler with me, and at ten I was in bed, preparing for an early start into the next day- mobile was set to 2:50. Only that sleep did not come easily, and at one thirty I had to do a tour de loo followed by some reading of fanfiction. I will give you the reason hubby sent me off before the alarm on the mobile even started, but first I have to say that the story was quite good but would have needed a proofreader. So here comes an excerpt: Her remarkable assets jingled in the neckline of her working garment (wish I could do that, too). Patients is a virtue. A pale, scared jest (a pale, scarred chest)...saved him from a soapy (sappy) display. Interesting was "I heard you coffin from the outside". Then came the "He put off his waistcoat and summoned a hangar for it" (that must have been one hell of a waistcoat)- my number one in the list, unfortunately that´s when I began to giggle so loud that hubby sent me off early to start my chore of driving. Back home I brewed me another cup of coffee then went to bed again. Bad hubby had banned my tablet PC to an unknown place, to get some sleep in case I would try to switch it on again, which I was not able to do then. We both woke at 8:30, that´s abominable! I had a spa morning at home- steam bath with soothing ingredients against the onslaught of cold, I also made good use of the jasmine oil DiL gifted me (I love the smell of jasmine, favourite perfume is Glam Jasmine), did paint my nails, did paint them again (never try to do housework, not even the tiniest bit, when the nail polish hasn´t dried up), got a pedicure done by hubby, who is quite good at it. After that hubby went shopping and I did lunch, already half asleep again. I am too old for doing such early get ups, the rest of the day I will behave like a zombie. Always. BTW: me liking HP soundtrack must have reached my offspring´s ears- today number three tried to make me go to Tulln for a concert. Yesterday it was daughter, for the same reason, concert only a bit nearer, in Kufstein. And last weekend number four suggested Graz for it. Must be because I once took the whole bunch to Klagenfurt for a LotR concert with Christopher Lee- they must have been impressed!
