...which occur on a daily basis- how inconvenient, but that´s what I got when I married my husband. Today it was about the menue for lunch. We both decided that it was spaghetti with a basil-lemon pesto hubby bought when in Munich. I was dilly-dallying in the house, doing a bit of housework then another crossword puzzle, still too tired from lack of sleep but not tired enough to spend more time in the bedroom catching up on sleep. At some point I noticed that hubby must have left for his daily tour de shopping. Since it was long after noon I brought the water for the spaghetti to boil. That´s when hubby came back home and told me that we were to have burgers for lunch, because he had found patties which were in need of imminent processing. So much to a meat-free day. Meat free does only work when I proclaim that we´ll have Kaiserschmarrn and stewed fruit on the menue (which is definitely not what I prefer to eat). So tomorrow next try- I wonder what hubby will bring home then...
Today was the second day I did not need an alarm call in the early morning- got up at 2:50, and daughter was up already. I dressed, went down to the kitchen and prepared two cups of strong coffee, brought out Lily´s breakfast (Vanillililli) then did two!!! crossword puzzles with her. That´s a record! Yet I was back earlier than usual, because we departed early plus there are no returning travellers at the moment. Hubby seems to stop the time I am off. So next time he can be the one to drive daughter dearest to work, since he is awake anyway! And I will have to look for a magazine with more difficult crossword puzzles!
Cassian did a test run in musical education today, but only in case DiL was ready to bring him to early musical education course this afternoon. She already phoned twice in the morning to ask hubby for the place the course was to take place- it´s still in the same building the kindergarten is located. Hubby has been waiting for DiL´s call- she said she´d report him about the outcome. She did report, indeed- Cassian would have liked to stay in the group, but DiL thinks it´s too strenuous for him (or more for her to bring the child each Thursday), and the children in the group were too loud. Show me children around five who are quiet and docile! Musical education came to an abrupt halt before it even really started...
