(no subject)

 Sorry, there´s no slip of the day, because I slept like a log this night and did never feel the urge to read on my tablet. Not as the night before, when my alarm went off at three in the morning, because I had forgotten that daughter dearest had swept work with a colleague, who wanted the early shifts while she prefers dayshifts! Besides, my cough is getting distinctly better and does not wake me so often during night!
Today was a grey, cool day with rain, though not as heavy as yesterday, when our street was a huge puddle. This also meant that hubby was in need of my car even more often than the last days- no cycling on a rainy day! Though I still do not know why one has to drive off continually. Hello, since it´s my car it´s also me who has to do the refilling of the tank! I haven´t any money to waste!
Now that I have enough wool I cannot find the pattern for the knitte coat for Elsa anymore- enough to drive me mad. I was sure that I had saved it on my tablet, but no... The darn thing is that I also did no more find the coat on Pinterest. I know that I had seen it there and only then went in search for the free pattern! This way the coat will be ready for wearing in spring, only that two shades of grey aren´t suitable for a spring coat!
I am so proud- I have donated four big boxes to the autumn flea market of a nearby parish- clothes, crockery, knick-knack and toys, but also a wacker plate and a true light lamp. Just things I do not want or need anymore but which are too good to bin them. Not sure if I will do a visit to the flea market in person- I might run into DiL number two and give her ideas! The boys haven´t been at our house for more than a week, and it was marvellous! Only poor husband is suffering from grandchildren deprivation!
