What should have been...
Oct. 4th, 2024 06:23 pm ...a quiet day turned into a hectic one. In the morning I decided not to go to the flea market- too wet, too cold outside. I don´t do cold well. Then hubby thought that we could do a short visit only (which we did) then drive to one of the stalls where they sell pumpkins. We need some for autumn decorating, or better said, Halloween decorating. We were back home for ten minutes, when number three called hubby, to ask him when he´d pick up the Golf- both number three and DiL have bought cars now. Hubby wanted to go to St. Pölten by train tomorrow, but only if number four would not show up for the weekend. Ten minutes later: It turned out that number four was to arrive this evening, so hubby´s car has to wait. Another ten minutes later hubby got a call from number one- he was on his way with Xaver for a visit. Of course, Xaver got hungry the moment he entered our house, so hubby did Palatschinken. When the time came and son needed to leave and pick up Oscar Xaver wanted to stay. Half an hour later son was back together with our oldest grandchild. Hubby made more palatschinken. At three in the afternoon they finally left, Oscar not without telling us that he felt that his mother´s new pregnancy was totally unnecessary. I almost peed myself when he bluntly let us know this next to his father. I went up to the studio then to do a research of things Müller drugstore has in offer at the moment. Found some things I needed reasonably priced, but before I was even able to dress properly and leave the house hubby cried for a trip to Aldi. At least I found two interesting books for the boys and a HP puzzle for me in the shop. Then hubby stopped at Billa. He needed game stock- that´s when I got to know that on Sunday he´d do the cooking (wild boar) and that he had invited family number two to join us for lunch. My only thought was What the hell will I eat then! I hate game!
