One set of squares down...

 ... four more to go. I spent half an hour with disentangling the balls of wool. Did four more rows to finish the first section of the pattern, and chaos had returned. I wish that those old-fashioned coverings we used for balls were still available. In different colours, so that I´d be able to check out the position of the wool- it´s two colours only, so I always confuse where to shift the balls to! But it´s a bit of progress I made today, a tiny one, but still...
Hubby wanted me to use up the Italian bacon he had made in early spring for lunch, so I decided on Italian lentil soup- only that husband mine had rearranged the content of our larder. The lentils were on the back of the topmost shelf all of a sudden, and it took me some time to find them. Absolutely not funny, even more since my step stool has vanished into thin air! Soup turned out very good, now we wait for hubby´s gout to resurface...
Dumb fleeing cats and Amazon did another race along the street. Good that daughter mine warned me in time and I was able to take up position and watch how many of them got involved in the race. Our Amazon deliveryman has been having a lot of fun again. Good that he loves cats and tries hard not to overrun them! Today it was the Elder wand that got delivered- the boys will be delighted! Fun thing is that they are more interested in doing the special children´s advent wreath than craft and decorate for Halloween. Yet I am sure that the moment they get my allowance to carry down the dragons Halloween spirit will have a revival!
Hubby was at the car repair shop- the repair will cost him almost 2000 bucks, and he is not amused! Even less because he is supposed to not drive the car in such a state, and I have told him that I for my part am not amused that he always takes what is mine. Friday´s tour to Germany will get done in my friend´s car anyway, so that he has free reign over my automobile. Well, he is in dire need of having free reign, because he will bring his car to the repair shop tomorrow in hope that he will get it back at the end of next week or even later. The next official date for repair work would have been in four weeks, so the mechanics thought it better for him to leave the car at the repair shop, so that they are able to work on it in between. This evening husband will use his own car to get to the first of three concerts he will listen to this week. From tomorrow on it´s my car always. Not good that I have at least three dentist appointments the next ten days. And a bunch of people who want to get cooked for at Halloween, which definitely affords quite a lot of shopping. Cassian wants his foot made of minced ham, the sausage fingers, the spooky cake, but most of all he wants sushi..
