Sleepless night?
Nov. 16th, 2024 05:54 pm No way! I slept like a log, after I had taken a photo of the full moon at 10:30.
The proof that I was out at minus two degrees, in a nightshirt and bare-footed!
By then the cars were already covered with frost- it had brightened up at some point and temperatures had dropped quickly- but the light of the moon was mystic!
In the morning I did more preparations for decorating, started the first one of the four tiny scarfs, did a list of items I needed to buy -mostly wool, since I put into the bin what I had put aside for scarf knitting. Good thing is that the new winders for the blinds finally arrived. Bad thing is that they arrived when I just had come out of the shower. Amazon deliverers never ring. Postmen unfortunately do. We need better coordination!
After a quick lunch (spaghetty my way) I did some reading then left to meet up with daughter dearest. We went to a coffee shop to discuss a present for hubby's birthday. Still have no clue, but I better get one next week, because next Sunday the family will meet at the inn to celebrate. After coffee we did the shopping. Daughter came back home with me, ate what was left of the spaghetti then took the train back home. I will see her again on Tuesday, after we hopefully will make it back home from our mad trip across the country. Three early shifts in a row plus Cassian and Flavius in the house for two days... I am definitely too old for this!
