The cold is over- we were up to seven degrees at lunch time, plus we finally got a bit of rain. Unfortunately we also got strong winds, so even hubby was glad that the boys are to spend the night at home, with parents they can wake up if the howling outside gets too loud. Hubby and I picked the two up early, they both were delighted at being allowed to eat at IKEA, their favourite place. Meat balls seem to attract little ones! Only that Cassian ordered a Schnitzel he did not eat- good that I ordered meatballs for hubby, because those he ate. Turned out that the boy had sicked up a lot the day before and could not attend kindergarten. A warning would have been nice! Both boys fell asleep during the drive home. In the afternoon Cassian and I started the Lego Hogwarts. We did the first package, and already one piece is missing. Used one of Cassian's Lego stock. Same shape, wrong colour...
Hubby tried to feed the boys all around the clock, which resulted in two boys sporting a belly ache in the late afternoon. At five thirty hubby put them in my car and brought them home. Or better, he wanted to do so. Unfortunately the car key was still in the ignition and the car lights were on. My battery is dead now, hubby had to take his own car then. Of course, he says it's my fault, I should have bought a new battery by now. Strange that I did not have any problems starting my car until today. And no one talked to me about a new battery at the service...
By then I was already tired beyond the usual level. No napping (can't do so at IKEA), not a minute of rest at home thanks to an overprotective husband, and when the TV got turned on both boys went deaf, and hubby's constant talking got even louder, so napping on the coach was impossible. and now that the three are off I have to stay downstairs, because Amazon is extremely late with delivery today...
