They promised...

 ...sun and seven degrees. What we got was fog and barely one degree. It´s annoying. Cold (which is okay for winter for many, but count me out) and dark all day long. I had to do housework, crossworld puzzles and sudokus with the lights on. For the first time I was glad that our vacuum cleaner has that nice light which usually annoys me. Sister made another phone call- the problem with their blinds is solved, the one with the certificate of registration is not. Only when she threatened to contact the press the clerk deigned to have another look into the problem. Maybe find the dunderhead who did the digitalisation, have a look at which cases he entered and look for more problems. Sister is livid, she needs the certification to be able to register her car, to cover insurance and whatelse one needs to sort out when in a new place. I am livid, because those constant phone calls are annoying.
On Wednesday I have a date with my dentist. I could have had one tomorrow, but we have to pick granddaughter up in St. Pölten. To keep myself busy during the drive I packed wool and crochet hooks. I saw a crocheted owl specs holder. Now that L decided to do one myself I cannot find the pattern anymore. Well, cannot be so hard to do one from memory! Cassian won´t come with us, because he has to attend kindergarten- it´s obligatory for preschoolers. Those may be checked out for two weeks only (holiday mostly, the last one off-season, before real school starts), and Cassian´s parents will do so in June, when the family will go to Tunesia again. BTW, DiL heralded that we are to support son number two, when she will be off to Bucharest for an exhibition of her quite spare paintings. Which means that she will have to begin to paint anew in spring, to be able to present more of her artwork. Which also means that she does not need her offspring in the afternoon. Woe is me! There are hard times looming ahead!
