Ugh

 29 degrees, but it felt warmer because of the humidity- each morning the dormer windows are covered in dew and the lawn is wet. I woke at three in the morning because of a stomachache which went away after a while, while I stayed awake. Hubby did an early grocery shopping then picked Oscar and Xaver up. Xaver has turned into some sort of nuisance, but Oscar did handle him well. In case he got too excited, the older took his phone and threatened to call their father. The boys spent so much time in the water, while I had to stay outside. No guarantee that I would not get water aplenty in my eyes- darn fighting boats hubby had bought for the grandchildren, to have fun with their built-in water guns! Oscar does not love bathing, but today it was hard to get him out of the water- stayed in for more than one hour. They ate their lunch (chicken fillet with rice) without complaint and had three ice lollies for dessert. Son, who picked the boys up after work, left just in time to avoid meeting my former student- he can't stand her. Me neither...
At seven she finally left, and poor daughter mine was finally able to relax on the couch on the terrace. She had spent two hours inside doing jigsaw. We had radler and chips, she FINALLY sent me the photos she had taken in London, then both of us went to the respective bedrooms, turned the aircon on and prepared for bed. No TV for me today, I have to catch up on sleep...
