Absolutely no
Oct. 1st, 2025 07:29 pm I went to bed at one AM- apparently a no-go for elderly women. Was dead in the morning but had to get up a bit early, to have breakfast and take a shower, do a drive to the bakery for croissants, buy the monthly gardening magszines then drive to the airport to pick daughter up. Together with hubby, of course! Since getting off a plane always takes time we quickly drove to Ikea to pick up a wooden front for son´s tenant and watched the plane daughter was in landing- the runway is located directly next to the motorway, and many a driver will feel a bit uncomfortable when the big planes sail in straight in front of their eyes (and cars). We came in time to pick daughter up, had a second breakfast, prepared lunch together (sauerbraten with spaetzle) then turned the TV on to do some resting on the sofa. I woke at four in the afternoon, daughter still not so softly snoring. At least she cannot complain that it was I who gave her the sniffles! She brought her own! We hung daughter´s washing up then went up to the bedroom, to do more resting and view the photos she took. What´s most interesting are the things they eat in Japan. There´s an iron law for me: I won´t eat what looks back at me. Now look at daughter´s dinner- it´s three courses looking back. Yuck! No, thanks! Even if daughter told me that it tasted really good!

Tomorrow hubby and I will have to bring the more delicate plants under the protective glass roof of the terrace- seems that we will get a first frosty night. Way too early for me. And way too much work!
