Pink unicorns with large teeth would make me run for the hills, too. In "The Great British Bake Off — An Extra Slice" spectators send in photos of their cakes, and unicorns with large teeth seem to be a favourite among them. Or seems to have been, as these programmes are several years old. I get nightmares from those unicorn cakes!
As for the nutcrackers, I find that they have a rather sinister air about them, too. I wouldn't want one in our house! Besides, we always cracked the nuts with a hammer, back when we got them whole. Now I just buy Walnußkerne ready to use. Yeah, I'm lazy that way.
