Hubby began to laugh when I took my seat at the dining table in the morning That old oaf! Yes, I move like an old lady. Okay, technically I am old, but not this old, and definitely not getting old overnight. My hips hurt. I had cramps in my thighs all night long. Still no appetite (now that's the only good side effect). I will drag my poor me into my car, to pick up my friend for wreath binding in the afternoon. Dragon at the bend of the road knows her car. Misses Blockwart does not need to know her fiend is here at my house. Though we are both vaccinated thrice, and she got tested two days ago there might be a problem if police shows up at our front door. Or maybe not, because helping out ailing persons is allowed. Since hubby won't be at home until evening I definitely will need help... Yet I think that older ladies like my friend are the reason why our testing system is collapsing- at home all day long, next to no contact to others, but testing thrice a week. Way too many tests for so few laboratories for evaluation! Now that in some parts of the country tests are only valid for two days, while it often takes three to get the result, a lot of people cannot show up for work, or come untested, which might result in hefty financial penalties for both employer and employee. That's our counzry to a T. Or better, that's the result when having a bunch of inept politicians trying to navigate through a pandemic, who have not yet noticed that the ship has keeled over!
And now I am off to nap again, in my bed, blanketed up to my nose. It is freezing cold in the upper rooms. Hubby has started another project of how to save gas...
