Well, that´s just great. Apparently my mother has had problems with her hear for some time but successfully hid it from me. Today should have been shopping day, but seeing her frail condition for the first time I immediately brought her to her physician. Her blood pressure is way too high, she has water in her legs, but her ECG was normal. She should take it easy the next days ( as if she ever does anything but sit in front of her TV´s or sleep, save when she´s with me), she should not eat ready-made meals (too salty, but then her physician has never got a demonstration of my mother´s cooking skills, which are, bluntly said, poor, and contain most likely more salt than the purchased meals), and she has to take her pills regularly at a given time. Hopefully my mother knows how to read the signs of the time and does her doctor´s bidding. She´s old, but not this old. Let´s hope for the best.
