Weather forecast

...is dumb. At nine in the morning- I had just had my daily shower and was resting on the settee (getting up at four in the morning because you feel slightly sick in the stomach can do that to you)- I saw snowflakes dancing on the display of my mobile. What the... Since I got up so early I was very well able to watch the progressing of today's weather- a clear, mild night followed by sunshine all morning. So why would anyone with a sane mind suggest snowfall, at six degrees and sun all over? That's idiotic. Must have been weather forecast for some country up north then east, where they can keep snow and bad weather to themselves! I want spring, and I am pretty sure that I am not alone with this wish!
Aside from feeling slightly nauseous all morning I did well: finally tidied out the last container with wool (two bags will go to a nearby fleamarket in March), gave up on the plaid I had started crocheting and put it into the bin, folded all fitted sheets the way Youtube showed me (and had to sort three of those out, because apparently my way of compacting sheets needs less space), brought Playmobil down to the guestroom and made room for new decoration in the studio. Carried the dollhouse hubby had hidden in the basement back up to number four´s room- I only noticed that it was missing because of the tiny toilet Cassian had put outside for the equally tiny Wichtel, which now had no house to get back into. There´s only such a short time frame when girls and boys do play with a dollhouse, and even then there are those who do Playmobil only or, even worse, don´t play with those houses but have Star Fighters instead. Like Oscar, Xaver and one day in the near future Konrad, too. So I was a bit flabbergasted, when son sent me a picture, where Xaver is wearing a Hogwarts sweater. That´s amazing- his mother must have had a say in this!
Friday got celebrated with pre-made fishburgers and selfmade potato salad. I so love that I am able to eat fish now- in moderation, but still! That darn physician of mine could have prescribed those pills a little earlier! And then I slept- went to the bedroom, hid myself away under the duvet and only woke, when my friend called, because she wanted to know more about the new family member. Son had just told us that the boy was only 50 centimetres and weighed 3,1 kilo, because he got born two weeks early. Fun thing is that his dad weighed 2,2 kilo only. Which was enough to let him grow up to 1,89 metres in the end.
Hubby will be off to concert soon, so that´s a free evening for me. I went to Amazon Prime to have a look at the movies that are for free at the moment. What shall I say? Those two I speculated I might watch are no more on the programme. That´s not fair. And even more so, since the prime time programme on TV gets dominated by German carnival today. They say that Austrians go to the basement to have a laugh, which means people do not like to laugh in front of others (except when having consumated too much beer). We have one big carnival broadcasting on Fat Tuesday, and even this got cancelled this year because of a terroristic assault a few weeks ago. So it is safe to assume that I will either watch a kid´s movie or go to bed early and continue reading my books, because, as I said, no TV crime stories for me at the moment!
