Glazier did not come today. It was not the rain but the strong winds that kept him from working. That sounded reasonable- no one wants to balance on ladders with glass in hand when the wind rattles at your body! So it was a lazy day for husband as well as for me. A bit of housework, knitting, tidying the garden, when the rain finally stopped. Hubby was off again to get impregnation agent for the tiles. Even gave me the instruction to read which came with the tiles: Impregnate the tiles before laying. Ha! There also was written Do not use contrary colours for grouting. The tiles are a light grey. The joint filler is almost black- no wonder that the tiles look so different now after grouting! Maybe husband mine should not have given me the instruction to read- now he'll never hear the end of it!
