Change of plans

 Number two told us his wife would bring the boys tomorrow together with the things they will need for their stay at our abode. Ha! I thought- time aplenty for pooling. Ha! Sister thought and invited herself and her husband for an afternoon chat. I grumbled but made apricot crumble. It was not perfect as usual, because when I had made the pastry I noticed that the crumble mould??? had deserted to number two, when hubby brought them Schnitzel. I had to improvise but did not get it right. I had just pulled the crumble out of the oven when DiL2 showed up out of the blue, brought clothing for the boys and filled our fridge to the brim with Greek yogurt the boys love to eat. But she also took the old espresso machine with her. It will go to Romania and hopefully stay there. Hubby had been searching for the sieve tray the whole yesterday. Found it this morning- good! Even better: the trailer is now full with things he found which will go to the dump. Not so good: he also found the old air conditioning unit, which now sits in the living room. As if we´d need it when we have aircon!
Hubby fried cevapcici we had for lunch together with garlic bread. Afterwards he took a nap on the outdoor couch, while I slept on the chair. Unfortunately I woke with a stiff neck which did not go away but got worse when I took a swim. Sister came, her husband ate one third of the cake, one slice for hubby and me was left over for tomorrow. So the crumble could not have been that bad. Now the house is quiet again, and I am tired, because I got woken at seven in the morning by neighbour´s grandchild doing a tractor race on the street. Oh dear, those plastic wheels are so very loud!
