The visit to the salt mine was fun, even though I had to force myself to join the pack. Aunt Lil gave me one of her headache pills (best for migraine), and off we were. The boys loved the train and the slides. I loved the boat. Even though Cassian found out about the echo, and we heard Flavius hollering Echo! Echo! for the rest of the ride. On the way home we shopped at Aldi, bought chicken nuggets for lunch and raced home. Flavius ate, fell into bed and slept. He woke two hours later, even though he managed to sleep on hubby's tablet and turned it on in the process. The darn thing was running at top volume, yet the boy slept and slept. Cassian's idea how to raise him was best: I searched for the howl of a werewolf, turned it on top volume and showed the boy how to repeat the clip- instant success. The boys went outside then with their bikes and found a police car in the street. I do not even want to know what they were looking for at this neighbour- she is a very special person with very special sons. In the late afternoon DiL called again. She does so each and every day, with the boys ignoring her. Today Cassian told her that he thinks her daily calls unnecessary, because everything is okay. DiL was not amused, so hubby told me. I had not been there when she called, I was chatting with my sister. After an early dinner I allowed some more TV watching. I was completely worn out. Not enough sleep, a migraine and more than average walking did exhaust me. Good that Aldi has an excellent assortment of wine. I bought two bottles of red. One I will open today, when the boys are in bed...
