Birthday woes

 Hubby's birthday was today. He wanted a malakoff torte, as always. One with ladyfingers, the way his mother did for him- as expected. I had to go (drive) to three different shops to get them. Torte got done quickly, but hubby had to do more chicken fingers- we had too many of them yesterday evening, and daughter came for a late lunch. KFC is not that bad! In the afternoon two neighbours came to gratulate, one of them left just a few minutes ago. It was nice but stressing, too. We had cake and coffee, then prosecco, then hubby's bacon with dark bread and toast with taramosalata and olives. Lots of olives. I went upstairs to do my daily entry when I got a weather warning from our insurance- we are supposed to get snow and sleety rain during night. Don't like it, not at all. Tomorrow I wanted to do a drive to a garden centre, to buy fertilizer for the lemon trees. Their leaves look a bit off...
