After a very cold night- minus 14 when we left the house at three thirty in the morning- temperatures began to climb. We had left a tad earlier than usual, because the streets were still icy, only to return, because daughter had thrown her old boots into the bin and lost our front door key on the way between front door and bin. If I wanted back into the house without ringing the doorbell I'd need this key, because mine was safely stored in my other handbag in the mudroom. Later in the morning hubby was off to Aldi, while I did housework, put away more Christmas but left winter decoration. Then I turned my PC on to search for underbed-storage containers, which are ten centimetres in height only- and bingo, I found some! Will order them tomorrow, when I know how many I need. Hubby insisted on making Fleischstrudel- he meant me making it. I sent him to the shop to buy strudel dough. Bad enough that I had to sort out then mince the meat left from cooking ramen! When the strudel was done hubby took a part of it plus what was left of the ramen, picked daughter up at work and brought her to her flat. Needless to say that we had a very late lunch- streets had turned into skating grounds, when rain set in, hence jam all around. Good that I did no more need to leave the house! I turned the dishwasher on, cleaned the kitchen, had another cup of coffee then went upstairs and made myself comfortable on the guestbed in the studio- it's nicer than the marital bed, so nice that after some reading I fell asleep and woke only, when it was already dark outside...
Still unable to post pictures via mobile. Or comment. Does anyone here have the same problems? I know this has happened once or twice in the past, but still! I switched to my PC for commenting, but I will have to buy a new, functioning connecting cable to upload pictures!
