noadvertising ...but nothing mentionable happened today. I went to bed early the day before, but sleep did not come easily. In fact, it came later than usual, and I was not at all happy when the alarm went off at three. Luckily hubby had put a cover over the windshield, because it was freezing cold. Lots of cars on the streets even at that time- Easter holiday traffic has indeed begun! I am envious- since we have grandchildren, holidaying has been cut short. It's either the whole families come for a visit or their children get sent to us the moment summer holidays or Christmas holidays are here. That´s the problem if one has more than one child...I finally made it into bed again and slept till seven thirty- idiot neighbour's son had found his father's tools and woke the whole neighbourhood.
Weather was fine today, sunny but cold- five degrees were not exactly springlike- so I decided to continue with mopping and dusting and rearranging things in the studio and the bedroom. Sent another ten books to the paper bank and put more into a box that will go to a book cell. If I continue this way I will be able to get rid of two book shelves and put the not yet painted cupboard to that place. Painting can only happen when the weather is warm enough (for me to work outside of the house). I still have to find books I can use for crafting- I want to try out some of the things seen in reels.
While I prepared lunch hubby brought daughter back to our house. We had a very extended after-lunch rest in front of the TV and did not even notice that hubby had left to get the Easter present for Flavius from a shop in town. After coffee and a slice of the Easter bunny cake daughter had bought at the bakery at the airport both daughter and I sorted WhatsApp photos then had a spa session with foot mask. Imagine, I was made to stay on the bed for one hour for the treatment! Hubby served me a dinner roll to keep me happy! It was not that much fun to have to stay in the bedroom, immobile, feet in plastic bags, with temperatures around 17 degrees!
Most of the clocks got switched to day saving time in the afternoon. Yay, finally! The night will be a short one, both daughter and I will try to go to bed one hour earlier. Well, since it did not work properly yesterday we are not sure about the outcome!
