Family Meetings
Aug. 12th, 2012 09:44 pmSo-called highlight of the year in our family is the annual barbecue, passed along the family members each year. This year was pretty easy, we only had to drive about 150 km to get to our destination, my brother-in-law. What usually follows might be called a clash of religions. While my hubby´s family mostly consists of members of Jehova´s witnesses and catholics, my husband and my children are catholics, while my mother and my sister´s family are protestants. My poor self has had a jewish father, who converted to Christendom when marrying my mother. So our family meetings mainly consist of religious debates, preluded by the constantly changing grace. Next year I´ll skip this never ending disputation. If they are interested in seeing me, they´ll have to visit me at home, leaving their religious attitude in front of the entrance door. Amen.
