There´s one thing that makes me cringe. Okay, there are a few more things that evoke this kind of reaction, but hey, I won´t tell you everything about me. Now. I´ve already told you I like to write and read fan fiction. This I do, but I am a bit odd when it comes to pairing up the characters. Seldom do I follow the standards provided by authors. Even better: having characters to play with which are not paired up at all. I´d never deprive Elrond of his spouse, but the moment she´s sailed, the complete household of Rivendell might bang at his door, trying to get under his bedspread, I don´t care. Let the guy have fun, finally! Velaxis can bang, pardon me, beget each and every member of Storm Constantine´s wraeththu troop, I´ll gladly read the outcome of the descriptive fiction. Tifa jumps Cloud´s bones? Cringe. Owie. Ouch. No women for the Final Fantasy VII soldier crew, please! Soldiers are not compatible with women in my imagination. You say, Cloud is weak and no soldier at all? Okay, but why should someone want to pair him with a lunatic like Tifa, then? Give him to Sephiroth, even the general needs something to play with that is cute and doesn´t have PMS, which even aggravates the situation. There aren´t many characters to play with in this fandom, and only a  very few are female. Now go to fanfiction.net and read the pairings: Cloud/Tifa, Cloud/Aerith, Aerith/Zack, Elena/Zack...poor girls, you are thoroughly booked out. So, what do we have learned in this article? The writer has too much time to waste and should keep herself busy with more serious stuff. She likes to play in three fandoms, where she is actively involved, but hasn´t told you about the ones she´s lurking around. Yet. And she writes slash, if it comes to one special fandom, because, in her imagination, girls should play with men, not killing machines. Have a good day!
