Yay for Christoph Waltz and Michael Haneke!

HELP!

I can cook, nit, saw, paint, plant trees, cut them down a few years later among other things, but when it comes to my PC, I´m as deft as a brush. Technically I could ask my teenies, but then I´d have to answer the question what exactly I was trying to do. Forget it! At the next opportunity they´d track me down! The case is this: there´s a shielded community which I should have access to, at least I am listed among the persons that should be able to read the entries. Well, I tried. And tried. And tried again. Now I am tired of trying and simply ask for advice. Do I have to log in with open ID? It´s a Dreamwidth community, I usually use Livejournal. Help appreciated!
