No more rain, please! Today´s night was hell. Downpour. Storm. Pool flowed over. We had to pump out the water, but whereto? In the morning we were roused by sirens: emergency alert! The river was overflowing! We were one of the houses spared, many were not this lucky. It wasn´t easy to get to my mother´s house.each and every brooklet had spread onto the roadway. Sandbags everywhere. A mountain torrent had made it into my mother´s garage and into the boiler room, not this bad, fortunately. We did a makeshift clean-up, mercifully mum is  in Germany with my sister, the whole commotion would have been bad for her health. Back at home: two apple trees gone, fir tree gone. Blown down by the storm. By now all of the bridges in our town were closed because of the flood. Our tranquil river had turned into a torrential one, promptly flooding parts of my nearby hometown. Its water level usually is 2,5o meters, currently we have 8,60 meters. And it´s still raining, not as bad as before, but still...can we have summer now?
