Happy Birthday, Maurice Sendak!

You brought me the most precious moments with my children, us sitting together, leafing through "Where the Wild Things Are". Maybe it´s because of of your book that all of them were able to read long before they went to school! Wherever you dwell now, a big thank you goes out to you!

Finally! Son (the one with Asperger) passed his final test at the university with flying colours. Took him long enough, but it wasn´t easy for him to navigate through the jungle of lectures, while trying to lead a life of his own. Well, he succeeded! Congratulations, child of mine! And do not fret because your younger brother has achieved his academic title one month earlier than you! He did not have to cope with your handicap. I´m proud of both of you!
