Two years ago we started a renovation of our ground-floor bathroom. Renovation was rather expensive, but definitely worth the money: big black tiles alternating with white ones, shower panel with light, glass sliding door...fancy, I thought. Now, two years later, I dared to pick up on the only problem: there´s a hole in one of the tiles, with three wires peeking out of it. I am a placid person, but being forced to dust wires at least twice a week is not what I had envisioned two years ago, when hubby told me he would install a lamp, to enable me to have a better look at my wrinkles. "Husband, do what you have to do, or I´ll suffer a premature death by electric shock!" I told him sternly. It turned out that my fear was entirely groundless. We do not know who pulled the wires in anymore, nor why they were pulled in in the first place, but they never made it to the fuse box. Technically we have a black tile with a hole next to the mirror cabinet, and three happy wires without electricity, ending in the middle of nowhere, and since we do not know where this nowhere is located, we cannot fix the problem. What to do with the useless wires? Twist them into a plait? Form a bow? I am open to suggestions (which should not include the dreaded "Remove interior, knock the tile out and insert new one")!
