It´s been barely a month since daughter mine made a beeline for NZ, leaving behind mountains of clothes and cosmetics scattered all over the house. Took me days to put everything back in its place, and now I´ll have to do the same thing again, only that this time it´s son number three who is accountable for the mess on the ground floor- shirts and trousers, briefs, bicycle care products and repair kits, runners... some of it will be gone come tomorrow, the rest will have to be stored in our cellar. I knew I should have been suspicious when he came back from university with three voluminous suitcases, but never had the nerve to ask why a three-day stay at Hotel Mama would involve so much luggage. Apparently son has brought most of his belongings into the safety of his parents´ house as long as he dwells in the backyard of Italy, to bring it back to Styria after he has finished his semester abroad. As if anyone would be interested in robbing a student digs (without valid tetanus vaccination). Wonder if he has left at least a few things in his room, because he has still one week of work ahead!
