Finally...

My neighbour told me today that our parcel delivery man got fired last week. I won´t say that I´m sad about it. That man had the nerve, delivering parcels at six in the morning in our street, which is a bit early, because everybody here is still asleep at this time, he entered houses when he found the door unlocked, not ringing the doorbell and waiting for the owners to come and get their shipments...In the end this was his downfall, when he went into my friend´s house, up to the second floor, where he met said friend stark naked save for a towel around her neck, at six in the morning. She had emerged from the bathroom, just having taken her daily shower, believing that no one of her family was up yet. Well, her family was still asleep while the delivery man was not. My friend had a screaming fit, this way waking her husband who tackled the deliveryman about his behaviour and afterwards called the post office and reported the incident. Apparently he had done the same before, because he got dismissed immediately. That´s good, because I have a son who usually orders goods twice a week but lets hubby or me get up to take his deliveries. At six in the morning, until now! So lets hope that our new delivery man will take it slower than the old one!
