Gruß vom Krampus!

When I was young, especially girls "dreaded" the days around the sixth of December, because a Krampus might materialize out of the dark at any moment, chasing pretty girls and chastising those who screech the loudest.
When my children were young, the time of the procession of Krampus hords came into fashion, the hordes´ members often drunk and striking at the viewers. Police was not amused.
Today the Krampus has made it into the cinemas, but at home Krampus gangs have to pass between bars, because now many of the viewers are drunk and try to wrestle down the creatures of hell, apparently an act of bravery approved by still screeching girls, which is bad enough. But as most of the bars have been carted off to our country´s external borders, many of the processions have been called off. May God save us from inept politicians, who try to seal off the borders with iron bars, and may the days of the old costum of the Krampus return! I bet the girls will still have fun!
