Today I have transferred the coupons hubby has gifted me for Christmas to my Amazon account. Took me ten minutes only, lucky me, because there´s always the copy-and paste option on the PC that will shorten the process of transfer. Hubby is a bit old-fashioned and has not realized that, no matter how many coupons he´d send me, all of the money would end up on one account. So he sent 30 coupons to my mail adress, and via app I got all of these mails promptly delivered to my mobile, in the middle of the night after Christmas. Oh, I forgot to mention that my mobile was on my glass nightstand, next to the bedside lamp with lots of glass beads. Mobile was switched to silent, vibration was on. I think you already get the idea where we are going: mail-> vibration-> ding-a-ling. Thirty times in a row. At one o´clock, in the middle of the night after a day that proves to be stressful for many of us. And no warning at all, all I got was a note with "You´ll find something in your mail account tomorrow!". How am I supposed to know that tomorrow begins this early! I´d have stuffed the mobile into my hand bag and left it in my car, to be on the safe side!
To put it briefly, this was the first night I was short of sleep. Then came the full moon on Christmas Day which disturbed my night´s rest, and the next two days neighbours and friends did a good job of keeping me awake. Yesterday evening I took draconian measures to finally get some sleep: I jazzed up a glass of eggnogg, adding some brandy. Was asleep in the space of half an hour but did not make it into bed. I am a bit stiff today though well rested. Will have the eggnogg one more time this evening, to be fit for New Year´s Eve!
