The time has come...once again
Apr. 21st, 2017 03:33 pmSpring is the time of blooming (actually it´s snowing here), of Easter bunnies, cat pee in front of the litter box, cat poop in the bathtub, torn out fur (mostly Vaire´s), missing cookies and stolen sausages...oh dear, the time of dear Namo´s annual checkup at the vet and the resulting diet is upon my family again. Namo usually is an easy cat, he does not fight with his sister cat, rarely steals, he sleeps like a log safe for the times he gets fed or cuddled. Unfortunately a diet has to be a character changing infamy, and now we´ve got a very grumpy combat cat in quest of sustenance, whose Fëanturi spirit must have been replaced by Fëanorian hot-bloodedness. The more he steals the longer the diet, it´s not that he doesn´t get fed only half of his daily ration, it´s a bit less than usual! Worst thing is that Namo steps into the litter box, wiggles his black behind and pees or poops outside the box. I swear I heard that cat leaving the litter box laughing at my facial expression. I wonder if his namesake would do the same after another fruitless argument with a furious soul of the House of Feanor. At least the Vala could use his brother´s garden to relieve himself, plus he has lots of Maia to scrub after him. The whole pandemonium will be over in a couple of days, and our Namo will be back to his cheerful self, snoring on his favourite cushion, awakening to the tinny call of the cat food can. No more peeing in the wrong places, no more cat fights with Vaire. Sounds like heaven! Now I only have to get rid of that awful image of a peeing Vala next to one of Lorien´s fountains!
