Feb. 27th, 2021 08:14 pmHubby and number four were off in the morning, and so was my car. I did not even try to start his Golf, because he drives a stick shift, and I have not driven one of those for at least five years. I called my friend, whom I had intended to visit, and we changed plans. Instead of me visiting her we did a cooking-together at our house, with daughter mine being a big help when searching for the ingredients hubby had hidden in the cellar, when he reorganized our storage room. I think I will have a serious debate with dearest husband mine. It´s fine by me that he needs more space for his hobby. But cramming our foodstuff into a small larder will not do the trick. It took about half an hour until daughter found the things I needed. But cooking was so much more fun today for the very reason that my friend had brought a bottle of prosecco. I swear one glass of it makes the whole procedure so much easier!
My friend also was the one who had given me ten balls of white cotton yarn she had no use for, so that I could knit a new outfit for Elsa. Yesterday I finally found a picture of a dress I´d like to knit, and an attached knitting pattern done for a knitting machine. Unfortunately there are two symbols in it we weren´t able to identify, so tomorrow I will have to do a test run in hope to find out the answer to the riddle.
Oscar is very upset, because he has to stay in the house. His father does not allow him to play in the garden when he does home office, fearing that his oldest will simply forget about quarantine and wander off to the nearby playground. So when he allowed him out at midday and did not find him he assumed the worst - until he found his offspring hiding in the organic waste collection bin, freshly cleaned, of course, but still. I tried to load the photo from mobile to PC, alas, it does not work. Same error message as always. I do not know what´s wrong with my PC. I have uploaded Whatsapp photos for years without problems, and from one day to the next Ashmael told me that he is no more able to recognize the file format. Too bad, the photo is so very funny!
