May. 1st, 2021 05:00 pmNot much to say about today. It is a bank holiday here, weather is still warm but cloudy now instead of sunny, the new dishwasher has been installed by husband mine, and I have started the baby blanket. I better read the instruction to each row more carefully, or I will have to unravel my crocheting quite often. Today I mixed up single and double crochets and had to redo three very long rows.
It is the second year now that we do not have a May feast with May pole, and slowly but surely people are fed up with the situation. The moment Covid numbers are dropping significantly in comes another mutant which surely will be even more dangerous and deadlier than the last one. This time the mutant comes from India. Apparently putting people coming from this country under quarantine is nearly impossible. The Indian lady came back from her home country on Friday and got tested positive at her work place on Thursday the week after- whereto have the two weeks of quarantine gone? I can count three days only! So here we go again...
I got a gift from Tuxedo cat today- two baby mice neatly put on the doormat of our terrace door. Did not even know that the old fellow still has it! I gave Tux an extra portion of kibbles in the hope that if full he will spare the little sweeties. I have to admit that I love mice...
