Finally!

Tada- we finally made it! It was hard work, because our conservatory is hot even on days when it is not hot outside. It was hubby who defined the rooms where aircon was needed. This room was not among them. Windows enough, hubby said, to air the room and cool it down. But even though hubby must be used to my bouts of hysterics when a spider comes in sight, we have only one window in there that has a fly screen. Many more have not but hubby likes to tear them open, must be the way spiders get into the room to reproduce. No matter how often I spray insect spray under chairs and table and whatever stands around, those creepy buggers won´t cease to web their nets everywhere. Anyway, daughter and I are not sure if we will start another puzzle before she is to leave for Finland. She is pretty sure that a sauna in Finland will be way more comfortable than our conservatory in the heat. Since hubby has given our mobile aircon unit to number one we can´t use this one to get temperatures down. And the fan we have stored in the cellar might do no good to the puzzle, at least I think so, because with table and sofa strewn with small pieces of cardboard one of them might go flying every so often.
Tomorrow a drive to Graz is scheduled. Hubby wants me to come with him, but honestly, a day without Cassian spent in the car and tidying out a student´s room? There´s nicer things to do!
For weeks I have been searching for a special crocheting pattern for the summer blanket I am working on. I was not able to find it, so I decided to go for a combination of trebles and relief trebles. Did a border of eight centimetres around the middle piece. Yesterday I had a look at the back side of the blanket- and there it was, the pattern I had been searching for. Only that it was on the wrong side now. I have just unravelled the outcome of two hours of hard crocheting. I am not amused!
