Here comes the rain again
Jul. 17th, 2021 06:42 pmI love Annie Lennox. Rain not so much, but it can´t be helped, this summer is a lousy one. The longer the day lasts the more rain we get. I did a trip to the super market, no rain when I went in, but when I came out, or better, tried to get out, the entrance was blocked by people who are afraid of getting wet. Very wet in this case, because torrents were coming down from above. Since I do not like a crowd of people with me in between I opted for the drowned rat look and marched to the car. Better wet and safe than dry and probably sick. See, that´s what I meant in my posts, we are getting paranoid. Vaccinated twice, FFP2 mask in place yet I won´t feel safe... media have done a good job to make us forget that there has been a real life once! And I must not forget to dispose of the mask, because once drenched it´s completely ineffective!
Today Cassian day had to be cancelled because aunt Lil came up with a bad case of gastroenteritis. Poor girl blocked the upper toilet for a whole day. It is getting better now, which is good because tomorrow she has to work. Daughter-in-law thought that the chance of becoming infected was worse than the aspect of no painting but having to spend a whole day with her son. Tomorrow, when aunt Lil is out of the house, son number two will bring the little one, so that the poor father will be able to lay down and sleep off last week´s stress. Festival time in Salzburg is nerve wrecking in times of Corona. I have to make out the time when Australia re-opens its borders. Son number three hinted that his wife might be pregnant again. I fear it is time to emigrate. Too many grandchildren around...
