Come again?
Jul. 19th, 2021 06:43 pmWe were lucky today-weather was warm, and hubby even dared to do a jump into the tool after so many days with cold and rain. Me not, I do not put my feet into the water if it has less than 24 degrees. It had 22 today, so a big no! We are supposed to get more heavy rain during night, so I hope that husband dearest will think of closing the windows in the cellar until rain is gone. I do not need more water from outside down there! The house smells mouldy already, and it will take some time to get it in shape again. Next week number three and family will come for vacation, I hope everything will be in order then.
Local politicians have found the reason for the watery disaster in our town. Green politicians and NGOs have successfully prevented the built of torrent control by telling it was disfiguring visual landscape, even though the funding had already been ensured by Federal and provincial government. For six years those people were able to block the built, until Administrative Court dismissed the case and first building work started in spring. Too late for those whose property got ruined by all that water! Even the famous Celtic Museum got flooded and valuable exhibits damaged! Shame on those who are responsible for damage amounting to many, many millions!
