Cassian day the umpteenth
Oct. 18th, 2021 04:43 pmCassian got picked up by hubby at 9:30, one hour later than expected, because DiL wanted to try how it would feel being alone with both of her children. Oookay, that does not bode well. There´s more Cassian to come upon us, that I foresee already. DiL was in hospital with the babe, to let them examine the state of Flavius´s icterus. Icterus is gone, DiL, too, she was at home at twelve but then went to bed and overslept, though she had promised her oldest to go to the play ground. Well, she did now, but since it is the middle of October already, there´s not much time left for the playground, before it gets dark. Cassian made me howl with laughter today. He was sitting next to me in my studio, playing with his stuffed toys and watching me doing embroidery, when he suddenly got up and wandered around, until I heard him saying "Oh, it´s so beautiful! So very, very beautiful. And it´s black!" Then he brought me my tablet, because I had forgotten to watch a car video with him. Poor guy, bad grandma! No tablet, no chocolate!
Do you still remember the time when Corona began to raise its ugly head? There were a lot of people who presumed that all the fuss was about trying to mask a depression. Nonsense, politicians told us via media, pandemic only. Now we have the pandemic plus a depression, shortage of goods and other "inconveniences". And just now our media have started to tell us every day that we have to brace ourselves against an imminent blackout. What the heck, I thought, we always have had blackouts though short-term ones only. I swear I never did any research in the web. I never did write a post on FB or Whatsapp that involved a blackout. Yet when I opened Youtube yesterday evening I suddenly found a lot of suggestions that involved alternative indoor heating with tealights, flower pots and cooking oil, and, of course, advertisments for power generators. That´s crazy! What are they up to now???
