Not much to do now...

Decoration work is finished. Cookies are done- not as many as usual, but plenty enough to get the family through the holidays. Tree is in the garage, the real, natural one. Tomorrow I will have to take some photos, before grandchild number four will play tornado in our house. The only thing that causes me a headache is the conservatory. The radiator does not work properly, or more precisely, does not work at all. We do not know why, but something must be broken inside the valve. Conservatory is more of a cooling chamber. Good that I haven´t put the orchids in there. They might have died on me by then. I will have to "click and collect" a radiant heater for Christmas, or poor tree will have to spend Christmastide alone, no matter how pretty it will look like.
Another of the unvaccinated neighbours dropped in today, bringing a lamp her cleaner had ruined, or so she told us. First thing was that hubby cut his finger on the broken glass. Second thing was that hubby killed the wires. Third thing was that hubby killed the bulb. Or maybe bulb killed itself, we do not know. Neighbour went back home then. Lamp is working again, though without shade. The second unvaccinated neighbour on the way to our house did an about-turn when she noticed that the dragon at the bend of the street was watching her attempt at getting into our house. Phew! One of those unteachables per day is enough!
