One car less soon

Hubby intends to sell his car. Okay, this comes unexpected, though it has been the original plan for our retirement. Share a car, save money. The cars stayed. Then came Corona, and I used mine even less. Cars are expensive these days, especially when you drive around all the time, as husband dearest does. Fuel, reparation work add to the extensive sum you need for daily life. Indeed, life has become a luxury, even if you cut back on spending for fancy groceries and the like. So maybe giving one car away is a good idea, though son will see it otherwise, because he is used to take the car that is parked in front of the house, which is mostly mine. And mine won´t be here most of the time if husband does not cut back on driving all day long. Well, he will have to. It´s about time he concentrates on ecological way of living. There´s absolutely no need to leave the house ten minutes before the shops close, because you think you are in need of a pretzel stick.
Today I did Kokosbusserl and wanted to do Nutellabusserl. Nutellabusserl expanded enormously in the oven, I now have Nutella flats. At least they taste good! Tomorrow it will be Himbeerstangerl (raspberry cookies) and Marzipanherzen (marzipan hearts). Fruit loaves are also ready for consumption. What I need now is visits, be it neighbours (the vaccinated ones, please, though those are the cautious ones who don´t go against the rules easily) or family, to eat all the goodies I have baken.
Daughter sent me a photo of the Advent wreath she has done with her flat mate- 20 candles on a huge plate, five for each Sunday in Advent, in the middle a bottle of rum. What I got is that the ladies drink hot punch daily. Okay, I hope daughter will not insist on having that much rum here, or I will have to look for a therapist for her!
