Days seem to get shorter the longer the pandemic continues. Daughter did a splendid breakfast with buttered toast, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Then we did a some weeding of the shoe cabinet, before she went to her room to continue her bachelor thesis and I did a bit of knitting. Since hubby won´t spend a weekend without extended family he invited son number two for pizza. Husband mine does a very good opulent pizza if you let him. To be able to survive the night I decided to garnish the one meant for me myself. Pizza dough is bad enough for my stomach, but in combination with too much cheese the result is breathtaking- in the true sense of the word. Cassian is a funny guy. Like I said, he plays with words. Today it was pipizza he created, and there are two meanings of the newly created humbug, the first two implying the same in different languages, the third a spoof of an island which not that long ago played an important part in our political history. I think Cassian went for the first version, and his mother did not approve, but the more she complains, the more inventive her son gets. His punning clearly comes from his father´s side, who did the same when young. They left at six, I cleaned the kitchen and am ready for bed now- only that going to bet at seven is no option. The pandemic has made me lethargic, and on Sundays lethargy hits hardest. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day- fog is supposed to go away, though it might get a bit windy, sun will be seen again for a few days, before from Thursday on winter might be back- finally!
