Man at work

Little man did more wood cutting with his grandpa in the garden. Afterwards the both dug out more of Tiny Tim´s roots to get the hole bigger for the new fruit tree. Hubby brought out a mortar bucket which they filled with broken tiles the roofer had not taken with him as concerted. I got a very tired and dirty young man in for lunch. Cassian got a quick overhaul, ate his lunch in record time then went to bed without complaining. That boy must have been really tired, because he did not even want to watch an episode of Fireman Sam, instead he slept for almost two hours straight! Cassian watched TV with me in the afternoon. He is now very interested in telescopes. Black holes seemed to be interesting, too, at least in the beginning, but after he had learned that practically everything nearby would get absorbed by such a hole he was very concerned that this hole might eat him up also. Now I am waiting for a call from his mother that her poor boy now has nightmares because of it. Cassian gets nightmares from nearly everything his mother is afraid of, even inflatable crocodiles he has been clambering about with Elsa when hubby had brought it into our living room. But daughter-in-law only likes Lacoste crocodiles and crocodile-skin handbags, all other crocodiles are dangerous...
All squares of the baby blanket are done now. Since number three wants to postpone his visit for another week (they´d love to visit number one, but Dil is still in quarantine) there´ll be plenty of time at the weekend to complete the task of sewing up. Oh, I forgot that hubby invited number two and family for Ramen on Saturday! Lucky me, seems there´ll be two adults less to cook for, which is good for me but sad for hubby, who loves to gather the family around him!
