Death warmed over twice

A very grey and wet day today, and temperatures are still down. I was even more tired than yesterday, I went to bed early then got up at one in the morning, woken by one of the cats making a racket, did an early visit to the loo-and heard a very strange electronical sound coming from daughter´s room, like an alarm gone wrong. Daughter complained that she was tired, too, because she thought her mobile had went bonkers in the night, doing strange sounds and glowing in a strange violet. She had not been sure if she had dreamed, because there had been no messages on the device in the morning, nor had she seen this strange colour before. I know that she usually turns internet off during night, and I know that she does so quite early, because since she is writing her bachelor thesis she gets up quite early to get more work done. I could assure her that she had not dreamed, because I remember that I experienced a similar phenomenom a while ago, and after that a lot of Google´s features had been changed. Of course I often forget to turn the internet off... I hate when such things happen. Daughter might hate it even more. She has been sleep-walking a lot when younger and still is now and then. Not that bad when someone is near to bring her back to her room, but she has done this stunt in a huge hotel in London, where her brother caught her just in time before she accessed one of the elevators. We now know that she has been indeed woken by her mobile. Apparently Android going berserk...
We had Cassian with us, who entertained daughter and me while we both were resting on the couch, and hubby did bacon-jam (now the whole house reeks of it), and in the late afternoon I did a tour into the garden to secure a few things that might get blown away otherwise- we are indeed awaiting another storm front, this time coming from the South. It is supposed to arrive on Thursday, but who knows...
